Eventually, eventually, the pieces fall into place.

SET UP: NEOS 1-5 are sitting on chairs around 1 big block,

putting together a puzzle

Tech: Gold Wash

DB: I think change is a ripple effect. We do something,

sometimes seemingly insignificant, and it changes another thing

forever. We usually don’t get a chance to stay and witness the

impact, but it happens.

RR: Small pieces add up to a larger picture.

DB: That’s the idea.

MI: Like allowing my students to talk through their conflicts

instead of sending them straight to the principal’s office.

J: Or avoiding spending money on any product on the BDS list.

RR: Or trying not to rush myself or anyone else.

WY: Or having lots of queer sex.

DB: People move like waves, constantly creating ripple effects

we cannot fathom.

RR: Then when we least expect it-

J: Something huge happens that changes everything forever.

MI: Like a movement that reminds people of their dignity and

sacred power.

(JP walks in from conference room)

JP: You guys won’t have enough time to finish this entire puzzle

right now.

WY: (Handing JP a few pieces) But we’ll finish it together if we

keep coming back to it.

(JP either grabs pieces or gently pushes WY’s hand away

depending on how they feel)

DB: And the picture will make sense to us.

RR: Eventually.
