Set up: Clear stage; gen wash. Neos 2-5 stand in a line facing
the audience CS w/ a pair of sunglasses in their pockets. NEO 1
stands slightly in front of them downstage.
GO!
NEO 1: I have a hypothesis that anything sounds instantly sick
as fuck when you say it slowly, while putting on sunglasses,
with the right background music. Example:
NEOS 2-5 will go down the line sharing a mundane/boring thing
they did this week.
NEO 1: See, by itself, not very interesting right? But when you
say it like this:
NEO 1 will motion towards tech to start music
Tech: Rawa begins to play in the background
NEOS 2-6 will go down the line sharing the same mundane/boring
thing they did this week while putting on their sunglasses.
NEO 1: Wow! Now it’s giving mysterious it’s giving sexy. It’s
giving who is that? (or whatever naturally comes up with the
NEOS cool new vibe).
Beat.
Maybe boring is more of a choice.
